Meet our Mascot naming winner

We searched far and wide, we asked all the kids in Bomberland what to call our Mascot? We had lots of fantastic entries but one name stood out above all others.

That name has history, and that name will now be added as a new chapter in our History books after having been suggested by one of our newest members to the club. Our Mascot from here on in shall be known as – “COOLY”

“COOLY” was the name suggested by Cooper Stone who is just 5 years old. Cooper plays Auskick in our Pre-Primary group and his Dad is one of his Coaches. Cooper’s favourite AFL team are the West Coast Eagles and his Favourite player is Nic Naitanui.

When not playing Auskick Cooper loves to kick the footy with his older brother, and play with his toys.

For the club the name “COOLY” holds a lot of significance. In the 80’s the Oval we play on each weekend was affectionately known as “Cooly-1” (Short for Coolbinia # 1)

So the Coolbinia Bombers salute you Cooper, wherever your Footy journey takes you in coming years, you will always be welcome back at Cooly-1 for a kick and a high 5 from your new best mate “COOLY”

Cooper Stone is all smiles before his first ever Auskick session
